Artie Yellowhorse Jewelry Genuine Sonoran Turquoise Pendant
Mother Nature is Amazing! The pattern in the stone is called the matrix and it is unique for each stone. Genuine High Grade Sonoran Gold Turquoise set in Sterling Silver Pendant. Created by Navajo Artist Artie Yellowhorse. Signed by the artist. 18" Sterling Silver Diamond Cut Rope Chain is included.
Sonoran Turquoise, like the White Water Turquoise, originates from the Campitos mine located on the Campitos Mountain outside of Cananea, Sonora, Mexico. This mine has been in production since the 1980's. Campitos turquoise, including the Sonoran Turquoise, is unique in many ways. The most impressive of which is the way it is mined. Most turquoise is mined from veins found in the surrounding stone. Turquoise from the Campitos Mountain is often found in clay deposits as nuggets. Sonoran Turquoise tends to have a brilliant green or blue color with a matrix of brown and traces of pyrite which add a special sparkle to the stones.

I received my ring very quickly. It was in a cute little box. When I opened the box it took my breath away.
This is a stunning piece of work.. I absolutely love it.
I’ve received lots of compliments on this design. I will definitely buy from you again.. thank you

I have often admired Calvin Begay's artistry while perusing Treasures of the Southwest's online catalogs, but this is the first piece that "spoke" to me in an irresistible way. Upon its arrival, I was even more enchanted, especially with the subtle sparkling emitted by some of its embedded elements, which is impossible to capture in a photo.

I have 4 pieces of her jewelry, 2 rings, a pair of earrings and now this pendant. Each piece is solid sterling silver, no stones. They are all well made and beautiful. I would definitely recommend her jewelry.

Gorgeous pendant/necklace. Valentine's Day gift for my wife of 51+ years.
She loves it and it perfectly matches a ring I previously gave her a while ago.
